About this dish

Nasi campur (Indonesian and Malay for "mixed rice"), also called nasi rames or sega campur in Java, is a single-scoop plate of nasi putih (white rice) accompanied by small portions of several other dishes, including meats, vegetables, peanuts, eggs, and fried-shrimp krupuk. The Balinese form, "nasi campur Bali", follows this template with a specifically Balinese choice of sides. The dish is a staple across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and southern Thailand, and the Indonesian and Malay form is the most widely recognised name for the "mixed rice" plate across the region.
